Call for Presenters

Background

Become a Presenter at APPortunity 2021

Are you tired of recycling the same content at conference after conference? APPortunity is different from any event that you have spoken at in the past. Our challenge to you is to focus on presenting Problem Pitches, not just Solution Pitches. Problem Pitches, aka Reverse Pitches, while not new, are rare and in APPortunity we are innovating: at the heart of the event we are leveraging Problem Pitches in synergy with Solution Pitches to  move the event beyond the familiar “Shark Tank” model to a “Shark Tank Plus: Driven by Demand” model with exponentially higher chances of immediate Product-Market Fit. You will meet people with real everyday delivery responsibilities, blocked by technical issues, who describe in detail the nature of their technical challenge and the value that its solution could unlock. This way Product-Market Fit is central to the creation of the market formed by Investors and solution vendors with delivery experts.

Who can participate?

APPortunity 2021 is boundless in terms of who can participate and who can contribute! We attract a cross-section of the whole innovation spectrum from startups and tech hobbyists to government departments looking to reach their delivery mandates and everything in between. Diversity of participation will ensure the triple-helix model reaches its potential.

Describe your solution: specific actions, tools, technologies, and processes that will be applied to resolve the problem, and the metrics of benefit you predict will improve as a result.
Describe the pricing model for the intervention or solution, and how it relates to the value of the solution in terms of the Question 1 delivery mission. And briefly describe other ways that the provision of this solution benefits you, the provider: e.g. your father suffers from Alzheimers and your solution would enable Alzheimers caregivers to achieve better outcomes.
